The JG3 model designed by James Gibson is the knife for you if you prefer a svelte, more compact cutting tool. The 3.5″ drop point blade is flat ground per James’ specification to give you a very nice slicing blade. The ergonomic Micarta handle is a typical Gibson shape, thin near the choil for a precise grip with belly in the middle for comfort around the other fingers. As with any bushcrafting design, there are no hot spots on the handle so you can use this knife for hours without fatigue. James recommends you strop the knife with a leather strop and compound as often as possible (daily if you can) to prolong the edge of the knife. Includes a leather drop sheath.
